A 2 star read, with a whole extra star for the coverJoan Wolf is pretty reliable, and The Arrangement is not a bad read, with a slightly unusual plot But the characters didn t really grab me, for some reason not a keeper.

Good, solid read Vintage Signet regency stuff that still holds up very, very well today Along with the lovely romance there are two mysteries The resolution to one I figured out very quickly The other was a big guess until the end.

Read twice because I missed a ton of details that affected my previous review Consequently I raise my rating to a 3.5 stars above average read, but not worth 4 stars, IMHO Well written, though.

I love romances with spunky, courageous, tough heroines and heroes that turn into goo when they meet Loved the characters, even loved the secondary characters and that is rare for me Written in the first person was never annoying and though I missed knowing the hero s inner thoughts, I still loved it And the mystery was great the villain was unexpected and the conflict was great I could here the English accent and see the English countryside and the country house.Loved the scene where th I love romances with spunky, courageous, tough heroines and heroes that turn into goo when they meet Loved the characters, even loved the secondary characters and that is rare for me Written in the first person was never annoying and though I missed knowing the hero s inner thoughts, I still loved it And the mystery was great the villain was unexpected and the conflict was great I could here the English accent and see the English countryside and the country house.Loved the scene where the hero and heroine are in a horse stable using the discussion of stallions as a sexual innuendo.BEST USE OF ...
